Things to Know

This world never ceases to present us with challenges. Sometimes, these are so great we begin to lose our faith and belief in ourselves. Take the time to read your Bible… the words of God and the lessons of Christ.

When these challenges seem to be getting the best of you, we encourage you to read these out loud, with emphasis… and believe in what they are reminding you of… you are a child of the most-high God!

In Christ, I have been brought to fullness. He is head over every power and authority. Colossians 2:10

I am made alive in Christ even when I was dead in transgressions- it is by grace I have been saved. -Ephesians 2:5

Through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2

In righteousness I have been established: tyranny will be far from me; I have nothing to fear. Terror will be removed; it will not come near me. -Isaiah 54:14

I have been chosen, before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. Ephesians 1:4 / 1 Peter 1:16

The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in Jesus Christ. -Philippians 4:7

I am a child of God and have overcome them, because the one in me is greater than the one who is in the world. -1 John 4:4

I am a new person, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. -Ephesians 4:24

All things will be given to me. -Luke 6:38

God will meet my needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:19

I can do all things through Him, who gives me strength. -Philippians 4:13

I have been chosen, a royal priesthood; God’s special possession and I may declare the praises of Him who called me out of the darkness into His wonderful light. -1 Peter 2:9

I have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. -1 Peter 1:23

I am God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God has prepared in advance for me to do. -Ephesians 2:10

I am an heir of God and co-heir with Christ and, indeed, I share in His sufferings in order that I may also share in His glory. -Romans 8:17

My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me, whom I have received from God… I am not my own. -1 Corinthians 6:19

I have redemption in His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. -Ephesians 1:7

I have been rescued from the dominion of darkness and brought into the kingdom of the Son He loves. -Colossians 1:13

I have been built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as I was taught and overflowing with thankfulness. -Colossians 2:7

Because He was pierced for my transgressions, crushed for my iniquities; the punishment that brought me peace was on Him, and by His wounds I am healed. -Isaiah 53:5 / 1 Peter 2:24

I am strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so I may have great endurance and patience. -Colossians 1:11

I have submitted myself to God. I will resist the devil and he will flee from me. -James 4:7

Through the Spirit of God, I am not timid for He has given me power, love and self-discipline. -2 Timothy 1:7

I am loved by God and called to be holy: grace and peace have come from God my Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. -Romans 1:7 / Ephesians 2:4 / Colossians 3:12

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. -Galatians 2:20
