The Miracle of God

We’ve talked about the power of prayer; our guardian Angels… anyone have any stories to tell? Remember… your story could be the key that unlocks someone else’s prison… don’t be afraid to share… be proud!

Open by talking about how hard it is to be God’s children…. Talk about the challenges and questions always put before you.

People are always asking about the “miracles” and signs that they simply can’t see. Have they opened their eyes? Have they opened their hearts? What are they asking for from God?

I have been questioned about my faith, my “religion” and all that I believe in.

What does the Bible say?

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Lets talk about the simplicity of kindness and how easy it is to show your heart. Does it make you feel good? Does it lift your spirit and bring ease to your heart?

What kindness has been shown to you? Tell them about the “groundskeeper” and what he offered me at a time of sorrow.

What else does the Bible teach us?

Luke 6:35 – “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.

What does it mean to wear “the colors” of God and the burden it brings upon you. Be who you say you are… nothing more, nothing less.

Our burdens… they are deep. How can we deal with such a heavy load.

The Bible says:

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22). God is glad to carry your burdens and give you the daily strength you need… simply ask from him.

And let us not forget…

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). When God has lightened your burdens, He asks you to do the same for others.

We are not alone in our efforts. God will help us as long as we follow what it is He has set before us. Speak what you feel… talk from your heart and He will guide your efforts.

“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’” (Isaiah 41:13). God promises to support and help you through every trial.

Let’s go back to kindness… we cannot forget about that. It is the way of God and the way He encourages to behave every moment of our lives.

Colossians 3:12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;

We ARE those people. We are the “chosen ones” to deliver God’s message to this world. Let them see your compassion. Let them feel your heart. Let them understand why it is you do the things you do.

We are just simple people, driven by a God that is all so powerful. We know he stands beside us in all we do. This is how we must be and how we will be God granting us the courage. Be who you are and let your heart rule your words… let your soul guide your footsteps and stand forever in the good graces of our Father in Heaven.
