Makayla’s Book – God’s Lesson

Living life as a Brother or Sister in Jesus Christ is not always an easy journey. After all, we still have the same troubles as others from the pressures of family, work, life in general and yes… even church. In times like these I find comfort in looking back and reading sweet Makayla’s crumpled little book I carry in my pocket about our church.

Remember, in Matthew 21:16 – “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”

These words, along with the drawings, from a beautiful little girl’s heart should bring great comfort to us and remind us what our lives are all about. Live simple, as God would have us, and remember in Matthew 18:3 – And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.“

Then I get to sing once in a while. And get to play with Hanna after church
